Received a Phone call from this number(Lady of Eastern descent) that said she was with the US Government in the treasury dept, and that the Government was giving away free grant money( $8400 to be exact) and how did I want that money transferred. I did give Info (my mistake) and she then gave me a number to her account manager Jack Smith to call and he would transfer the money. The number to call is (202) 470-3340. Neither of these are Government numbers by the way. When I spoke with Jack Smith he told me that I would have to send him over $200 (I forget the exact amount) to cover the transaction and taxes associated with the wire transfer.
I received call from a women very heavy middle east accent, could hardly understand what she was saying,said my number matched an USA treasury grant offer. I stated so what kind of scam is this? She got a liilte testy and said watch your mouth mam if you don't want it you can just hang up, that is exactly what I did! This is the fourth time I have receiveda call from DC. Each time I have checked the numbers on google all were scams!!! Well we know congress is not doing their job, they need to also sweep the city of scamsters, or are we to think DC is nothing but SCAMS!!!!
Same thing here. But they have my number out when I refused so hot like a hundred calls. Then they just tell the people that I don't wanna help. Be careful don't give your info to anybody
