I received a call on 10/31/13 stating that I was randomly choosen to receive $8400 in government grants, they had my phone number and city & zip code of where I lived but no address. They proceeded by asking for my bank information, I replied and told the man that he could have the money put his bank info down, he became very beligerant and started using foul language.
Just received a call from this number stating the exact same information as listed above regarding giving me free grant money once I provide them with a way to send it to me! REALLY?! We are still in a recession, just coming out of a "government shut-down" which caused millions/billions of monetary losses, high unemployment rates, job furloughs, fewer jobs available and/or being sent out of the USA, economic programs being discountinued or decreased and you expect me to believe that the federal government is giving away free money randomly?! What do you think I am? An idiot? Needless to say, they hung up right away!
