The caller ID says "Washington D.C. Cell Phone". This is an Indian call center with scammers claiming to be from "Windows Technical Support". I think we have all gotten calls like this before. I usually like to play along with them for at least ten minutes to waste as much of their time as possible.
The Indian man said that my Windows PC was infected with viruses and was sending reports to them and that I could fix the issues with his instructions. He asked me to open and run event viewer. I played along even though my PC was not in front of me and has been turned off for more than three weeks! After that I kept playing along with his commands and decided to go to YouTube on my iPhone. I searched for an Indian Windows scammer prank phone call (https://youtu.be/c4HKOWG2oEA) and played it for my Indian scammer friend with the speaker phone on! He didn't say anything for at least 3 minutes while the prank call on YouTube played. Eventually he said "hello is anyone there?" and hung up. These Indian scammers should be considered terrorists and need to be treated like ISIS, Hamas, Al-Qaeda, etc.
Today at 12.00 p.m. he called and I did not give the chance to speak and rite away I asked what he want. He answered, I want your money. After that I told him, "[***] you [***], you never get my money". In 5 minutes I called back, but this phone number do not exist.
Before today some people try to reach me from different phones. I answered. Everywhere was accents like Filipina, Thailand, Vietnam people. And I am always recommended them to learn English and just after that call me back.
