This scammer number called my cell twice in one day. Caller identified himself as a "United States Federal Government Employee" and stated I've been awarded a grant from the Federal Government for (I can't recall how many thousands of dollars). That was enough to raise a red flag and I hung up.

Received a phone call from a woman who identified herself as a 'verification officer' working for the United States Government Grants & Treasury Dept. She stated I'd been awarded a loyalty grant from the Federal Government for $400. This raised a red flag and I hung up. She called back and said that I would not be able to receive the money if I did not provide a credit card number. I informed her that I did not want the money and hung up on her.
