I received a call from a guy with a foreign accent saying I had received a personal grant from the government for $10,000 and how would I like to receive the money. He game me three options, 1. Credit Card, 2. Bank Account, or 3. Western Union. I figured it was a scam. He gave me a call back number for the accounting office and a ID number they would ask me for. Since I figured it was a scam anyway, our government never gives away free money to anyone that hasn't asked for it and not likely even then.
Just rec'd a call from a man with an accent that I was chosen to receive a grant from federal government for 10,000.00. How did I want to receive it? Bank account? Debit card? Western Union? Of course I was not about to give him any information, so I said Western Union. He then gave me a confirmation number and the phone number 202-670-1474 that no one answered. I guess I picked the wrong option!!

Just received a follow up call from the same guy, said his name was Johnson. The first call was from an "unknown" number, then he called back but the connection was poor so he called on another line, that number was 7738879219.
