They offered me money to further my education. They even had online colleges call me about their schools. At the very end of the conversation they said I would have to pay a registration fee of $299.00.
Wow I just spoke to Clara, she said her last name was Hilton! 239-590-3882 was the number I was to call her back at...called her back and asked several questions and then told her that the scam was on the internet and she should be ashamed of herself...she hung up!
I was called several times today with the same situation. US Government grant for $7800. I was also giving a number JO456 and phone number 2026707632. I didn't go thru with it. I pretty much felt that it was a scam as well. I sure hope that nobody has gotten caught giving their money away.
