They called me saying that they are from IRS investigation department in Washington and that an arrest warrant has been issued for me and my family by IRS and Homeland Security office and FBI!
The caller asked for the last four digits of my SS# and notified me that all my assets have been frozen by above mentioned agencies and that these officicials are on their way to arrest me and take me to prison to an unknown location while taking all my possessions away and arresting my family too!
I went home from work and waited 3 hours for them to come and arrest me, and needless to say that these were THE WORST HOURS OF MY LIFE!
After calling them number of times and asking them why they have not come yet to arrest mey yet, while my whole family and friends are crying my life seems to be taking away from me, I come to find out that THIS WAS ALL A SCAM!!!!!!
Please help to stop these JERKS AND BASTEREDS so that they do not cause more pain and hearth attacks for the innocent people that they contact!!!!!!!!!!
Same story with me. They toldmy husband to stay on the cell phone while taking mony from the bank and at the same time not tyo hang up home phone. I called the layerand police and told them that and the said that home land security iscoming to arrest usin 33 minutes.
I just received the same call claiming to be from the IRS. He had a foreign accent and asked for my husband by name and told me police are on their way to arrest both of us and deport us. We are United States citizens so I realized this was a scam. I told the caller I was calling the police to report the number. I also told him to o to hell and hung up.
