I too received this phone call. I went to the website, and before I entered any information in, I googled the website and I found this! I also found out some more information about www.requestagrant.com which leads me to believe this;
If at anytime you applied to get information regarding a "HOME BASED BUSINESS", and you gave your phone number out, then you are going to get this call! This is how they were able to get our phone numbers. I too am on the DO NOT CALL LIST! More than likely this Con-Artist would not go to the DO NOT CALL LIST, because people are inquiring about such information and this gives them a loop hole around the DO NOT CALL LIST!
When I went to the second page of my google results, I found this; (Homeincome82's clips tagged Www.requestagrant.com : clipclip). When I clicked on it and went to the page, I saw a message that said if you were interested in www.requestagrant.com, then you will be interested in Thecash Code. I followed that link and it took me to a website regarding "HOME BASED BUSINESS"! I do think this is a scam!
Recently I have been interested in a "HOME BASED BUSINESS", and I have given my phone number out for it. I have been leary about Home Based Business's but wanted to see what could or would happen. I am glad I followed my gut feeling!

Hi......There a scam out of China....delete the message and go on.... there are numerous people who have received the same call......check out the site "requestagrant.com......which is one of their sites.....below them you will find sites telling all about them and the same scam.......Don't do it......
Put your name on the National Do Not call registry. It takes 30-31 days before you can put in the complaint, but if enough people do it, they will be taken care of once and for all. I hate scammers, they waste everyones time!
Called to check my messages and heard a message giving a return phone number 202-683-1404 @ Capital Hill or go to www.requestagrant.com site for more info. It stated on the phone message I was eligible for some grant money and other such things. I need an e-mail address and a phone number. I went to web site provided and carefully read it's contense. It asked for the amount of twelve dollars to be paid by credit card to get started. I stopped at this point because noone will give or grant anything for that low price or even free. Sure is outrageous how some get away with taking advantage of other and aren't held accountable. BE WARE-FRAUDULENT LERKING!
