I got a call at work from this number 202-684-2191, saying I owe $ 416.00 and that if I didn't pay I would be arreated at my job her name was cindy she told me that I renege on a 2008 Bank Account .... I haven't had a account for over 4 years, then she give me the account number and the refernce number and the name of her Company WCCI then she told me I had until 2 pm to get the money to them by money gram.....
I did send them the money freaking out then calling back and asking to speak to cindy and told her who I was and she ask for the reference number told me that I nee to send $200 more tomorrow before 2 pm in order for her to cancel or suspense the order... I feel like I've been scam and taken like a fool when I should of ask question and demanded a copy of order but I didn't.....
I received a call at work from this number 202-684-2191, saying I owe $1500.58 and that need to take care before 5:45 and her name is Susan she caccled 4:23 and wanted me to do a payment for $750 if can make it today they will bring me to the Court and pay $5000 and i told her send me the information and refused . Said they will come to arrest me if i can not make that payment today @ 545. Said the company is Fraud unit.
some are landlines...many are cell phones...some are spoofed and linked to offshore foreign countries !!!!
we've traced back most of these numbers to offshore foreign call centers in INDIA / THAILAND ETC....
here's a few other numbers posted from the same area code offering a wide variety of scams / free money / scam giveaways / humane society etc etc.....stories change out all the time......and the usual nonsense!!!
** mysteriously call to claim they have several thousand of dollars to send you....just provide you bank account and credit card right away etc etc.........scam scam
202-621-0436 ( offshore foreign call center ? ) poor english and violent on the phone! claim to be giving away $1,000's in free cash....just give them all your personal info etc....
This a debt collector for ace cash advance they are a collection agency and can not have you arrested but can press charges. So yes they [***] on me too just like everyone else they contact
