A woman with accent told me that my number was selected for a $9,000 grovenment grant money. I was entertained of her story so I carried out the conversation (of course I suspected the scam). Then she said she had to aske personal information to verify my eligibility. So I asked her to give me a call-back number (government owned phone number) so I would call back to give my personal information. She said, "I will give you my supervisor's number" then hung up. The location of the call indicated it was from the District of Columbia. Do not be fooled by the location of the call; it is a scam.

I entertained their notion of giving me FREE grant money. So to find out more I gave them a dumbie CC number to find out what they were pushing. Told me to go purchase a $200 green card from my local store and call them back when I had gotten it. The $200 was for a deposit to release into my acct, which I asked why I needed a deposit for a free grant?!

I hung up, called back and declined their offer from the government (Uncle Sam ain't that generous) and asked to be removed from their services. I asked his name and where they are located, and he explained his name was Michael Jordan???? WTF really!! From Washington, DC. I BLOCKED the number on my phone and please DO NOT answer if you get this call.

This DC phone number called me asking for personal information so they could issue a $9000 grant. I asked specifically who they represented and they kept saying United States Federal Grant Center. I asked if that was part of the federal government of the united states of America and they would reply saying Oh Yes the United States Federal Grant Center. When they asked me how I wanted it to be delivered I said "mail a paper check to my address." They said that this was not an option and demanded a credit card or bank account number. I asked to speak to a native speaker of English the "supervisor" with the Indian accent hung up. Scam Scam Scam!
