This is a scam phone number posing as a IRS AGENT. When they called me, they asked for my name. I told them, WELL YOUR THE IRS, YOU SHOULD KNOW MY NAME. They got my name WRONG AND I HUNG UP. JUST LETTING YOU KNOW. DON'T GET SCAMMED,
I also received said scam on my messages. I recognize it immediately as a scam but since we do have legitimate dealings with the IRS, my wife got really upset and thought it was real until I explained it to her. You might make sure other family members are informed about this, also.
Same IRS scam. I called # to see what they would claim. Spoke with "Steve Jackson" at that number and advised I had message claiming IRS lawsuit against me. "Steve" said he would "check into it" and call me back.
