Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
Caller ID displays Gerry Coats. Recorded message states "This message is for you. This is a call from the IRS and the second you receive this message you or your attorney of record should immediately call back to avoid a warrant being issued for your arrest in Federal Claims court." We get at least one of these calls each week, always from different numbers, often with a live human on the message claiming to be Officer something and ALWAYS with a middle eastern accent. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. Yet again I will spend 15 minutes filing a report of the call with the IRS on their website as these calls actually are a crime with real consequences.

I received this message, " "This is Officer Adam Webster from the IRS and the second you receive this message you or your attorney of record should immediately call back to avoid a warrant being issued for your arrest in Federal Claims court. If I do not hear back from you or your representative, then I wish you luck." I have received calls like this in the past from different numbers. I'm tired of [***] caller scams; I might start cursing myself!
