Jan. 31st 2013 7:20PM 202 688 0627 ID Washington DC. Rang three times then they hung up. Did not recognize number so did not answer. This is the way to beat them. Don't answer the phone. Don't let it frustrate you. Never give out any info about yourself. Go to a legitamate charity website and give through that. If you answer the phone they have a working number and sell it to all other telemarketers. These scammers use a fake charity to get around the do not call rule. Don't fall for it.
This group is out of Washington D.C. - need we say more? They received 21 plus million dollars last year and been around since 1982; to date on 82 million has ever made it to any "cancer-related" (used loosely since it is about diets) programs. Think about that in 31 years and collecting 20 plus million a year and only 82 million has made it, but they are not alone.
