The message on my voicemail was:
"This is investigator Richard Haley. You need to give me a call within 48 hours regarding some accusations that were made. Failure to respond within that time will result in a process that will [unintelligible] regarding these accusations. Call me at 202-688-1397 as soon as possible."
This person left a message about accusations (insurance related) made and that I have 48 hours to respond. The name of the company he left says they do not have a person employed there by that name
the person at this number stated that I owed them money and that they were going to issue aq warrant for my arrest if I did not pay them. they threatened me verbally and said we tracked you down and we are going to get you. I am going to call the police. .
This Guy called said I owed money, after talking through his threats he realized i was not the person he was looking for, i investigated this and this is a collection agency that uses tactics that are against the law
Recv a call from a man by the name of richard haley, stating i had 48 hours to respond to this call, if not a warrant would be issued for my arrest, they stated i had comitted theft by taking and would go to jail, AND then he went on to say "you are a good person, just messed up your finances, they put me on the phone with a mediator and he arranged my payment and told me to avoid the warrant have the money deposited to bank of america or chase. i took the information but realized that i never even received a letter in the mail. this is a debt collection scam, do not return the calls...... also they said once this is paid they would cancel the warrant for my arrest.....
