No, not only will you be $250 poorer, they will then ask for more money to pay taxes, or fees, or whatever else they can make up. The government does not give out grants willy nilly. You need to apply for it, fill out tons of paperwork, go through a review proving that you have a valid reason for the grant (paying your taxes on time, never been arrested, paying your bills, etc, does not count)

I received a phone call from this company using this number they were offering me $6,700 if I pay the taxes of $250. After researching the number I see that now its a scam and would like for someone to do something about this because it makes no sense. To trick someone out of their hard earned money is a crime and against the law. Expecially since they posed as United States government offering me a US Grant.
