Received a call today from this number saying they were from the department of legal affairs. They said that if I do not return the call that all they could tell was " have a nice life" and they were going to have the law enforcement at my doorstep.

Heavy Indian accent, said he was a police officer from "the District of Columbia Washington" and there was a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud and tax evasion. Said they already sent me "the papers" and this was serious. I told him he sounded ridiculous and Iwashanging up... and i did. Do people really fall for this junk?

They are pretending they're IRS agents and you owe money and that the police will be at your home before the end of the day if you don't wire them a fee - from me they wanted THOUSANDS (fucking idiots)- according to the IRS they are tricking thousands of people with this scam --- PASS IT ON AND DO NOT FALL FOR IT --- THE BEST PART IS THEY HAVE NAMES LIKE KEVIN JAMES AND LUKE SMITH AND THEY ARE VERY CLEARLY FROM INDIA WITH HEAVY ACCENTS THAT YOU CAN BARELY UNDERSTAND --- JUST HANG UP - TRUST ME!!
I received a call from this number. I got an automated message purporting to be from the Department of Legal Affairs that said for me to call back. It also said that If they did not hear from me or from my trial attorney, the local law enforcement in my area would show up at my house. No idea if this is for real. still researching.
