Who called from 2026989691

Said I applied for a government grant which I didn't Scam.

This number has called me 3 times in the last hour. I am at work and will not answer. Never leaves a message and the caller id says Washington, D.C.

I keep getting a call from this phone number (202 698 9691) stating they are from Washington D.C. and I applied for a federal grant (never did) and I could get up to 5800 or 6000. I asked his name, and wrote down the address he said. He claimed to be Mike Smith working at 200 Independence Avenue. I asked if I could send a money order, and he said only a prepaid card in the amount of $380. Now when I told him that I intended to look up the number and find out if this address was a legitimate company, he got very pushy and insisted I pay with a card and that this was an accredited business with the BBB... I know grantors don't call to let you know you've been approved. They go through mail. Also, I know that anything you have to send money for is likely a scam. So... best of luck to anyone getting these calls.
