Received a call from this number at my work. The automated message was from an airline notifying me of a change to one of my upcoming flights. Surprised so many others received SPAM type calls from this number
CALLING, HARRASSING AT WORK ABOUT BILL -- NO IDEA WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT. FOREIGN ACCENT. CALLS WITH AN EVERY 3-4 WEEK FREQUENCY. TRYING TO GET CREDIT CARD TO PAY. NO WAY! I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO REPORT HIM TO THE POLICE AND FBI. HE STOP CALLING FOR NOW, UNTIL ANOTHER FOREIGN VOICE SHOWS UP 3-4 WKS LATER. BEWARE - HE'S A CON.
This male, with what appears like an Indian or Middle Eastern accent, called my work number. It did not sound professional, and also very jumbled. First time called my office number. Called twice this very morning and did not leave a message other than to call him back.
The guy calling in is an Indian. I am an Indian too and that guy had the guts to call me up..damn. It's hard to believe Indians have started scamming this way , though , only a few of them.
I know all the numbers I recieve call from. When asked where did he wanted to talk about - he said about a "confidential business" deal. haha
And what could possibly be confidential about a business deal , when umm just employed, duh!!
Beware - he is a con and I don't mistake judging people's personality. Most probably he's from Mumbai in India. If I had known before, I would have had given him a taste of his own poison.
i received a call from this number. because i live in the 202 area code (DC), i answered although i didnt recognized it and the called ID said "intl. number" which is weird cause DC is home for me! in any case, it was an automated, computer-generated recording. said it was from some credit union and that my card had been compromised and that they had detected fraud. already knew it was a scam: 1) i dont bank with a credit union, 2) my credit card company has my cell #, not home number, but i played along. it said to press 1 to be connected to the "security dept", so i did and it asked me to enter my CC #. i entered a phoney number but these guys must be a little bit sophisticated because it rejected the number and kept asking me to enter a valid number. there was no way to connect to a live person (which i would have yelled at), i got bored and i hanged up. bottom line: total scam, beware.
