Two days in a row now. Twice today 07/15/15. Called them back and was questioned by the one that answered 202-738-1650 as to my name. Heard about this scam last year but wasn't hit up then.
Scammer! Calls and says he is from the IRS and you are going to be arrested if you don't pay for back taxes. He talks with an accent. Don't fall for it!

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I received a call from this number at 6:23am (Pacific Time), called them back to confront them, and they hung up on me! (If it was legitimate, I would have been issued papers!!! (2nd time someone tried to contact me regarding this scam! the other time was with a different number)
I got a call today from the same number 202-738-1650 they are pretending to be IRS. I called them back and said that if real IRS was trying to contact me they would send a letter and also on my color ID it would not say wireless caller. Whoever this is do not listen to him call the real IRS if you have any questions.
I got two calls today from them, call them back said who is this wouldn't give them my name he hung up. And do you have that accent they were talking about
