I just received a call from 206-201-2371 a Washington USA number according to my caller ID. I was told I have grant money I am eligible to receive from the US Government. Rep stated that the grant was free with no payback obligation. I was concerned and then I was transferred to a Senior Rep who repeated the same info. I was asked to call back to confirm my acceptance to the number above 202-738-4067. She gave me a website to check out and it was a government website that I was directed to. Still concerned I broused the number given to me and came up with a beauty lounge and this website. All had heavy foreign accents. Not that it matters so much but a little flag was raised. No company name given,
i got the same call and they also claimed to be with the Federal government claim department and gave 202-738-4067 number to collect $7,587.00.
So laughable, the man who called could barely speak English and that number he gave to collect comes up as a Beauty salon in Washington DC.
I did not call it.

I got the same call. They gave me a code to give when I called the number. I called and they told me to go to a CVS pharmacy and buy a green money pass card for $4.95. The put $200.00 on it and within 10-15 minuts the $7,800. would be deposited onto the card. I told them they were a scam and would be paying $200.00 I don't have for nothing.
I'll be dam, deni , i just got the exact information /details , word for word. everything you said, those were the identical steps i was to take! Our government need to trace those peoples with that BS.
