It's not a matter of testing it the information isn't legitimate. I have had to federally funded grants issued to me for my business. You HAVE to apply to receive a grant and you also have to go through interviews depending on the amount and nature of the grant itself. Most grants are issued via check and have to be received by mail or in person a federal building. DO NOT TEST THIS. My wife was contacted and I had a buddy run the info the telephone number is a personal line not a government office. Please trust when people say its a scam that means someone has already learned it the hard way and wants to ensure no one else suffers.
Call from Foreign lady saying given money from government for paying income tax on time. asked some questions then game the 202-738-4264 number to call
I think this is the 2nd time. Months ago I probed the person to name departments of the government's and we were disconnected. This time I listened and let this call go just as they wanted. They said I had 3 choices of how I could receive these monies...via direct deposit to the bank or debit card or via cash. I was given identifying information to collect these monies via Western Union office. I was given a contact number and person to arrange for this cash exchange. I take more care just paying a my bills.
It's "Muslim" not "Moslem"!!! And just because they have foreign accents does not make them Muslims or terrorists!! They are scam artists.. You can't call them terrorists if you don't know what their agenda is. FYI, all Muslims are not terrorists. And yes, I am offended because instead of just calling them "terrorists", you had to objectify them by calling them "Muslim (moslem in your spelling) terrorists"!!! I understand you may be upset that someone tried to scam you, but don't condemn an entire religion because you are pissed.
I do apologize for venting like I did. I would just like people to be more cautious with how they word their messages!!
P.S.- I hope we catch these scam artists/terrorists and save people from their tricks.. #realitycheck
