I just got a call from this number claiming a friend from fb gave my number and he could see me on his computer screen right now. I got creeped out and hung up.
I received a call from his number saying the treasury department is giving away 9000 in grant money...but go to walmart call the 202 number so they can help you fill out forms ..you pay $220 and when the amount come through you will get 9220.00 in fourty minutes.......I read other people complaints and its a scam........dont do it
I got the same call saying i have a government grant that never has to be paid back. I would need 215 dollars to get it and i would get 200 of that back when the money comes in. And it only takes 15 mins. The guy i talked to is steven thomas. I think it's a scam.
It is. Any time you are asked to pay money to get money, it's a scam. Known as an 'advance fee scam'. Lots of reports about it, and similar scams on 800 notes.
