Called to say i was awarded a $9000 and that they could put it in my checking account, or with my credit card (really?!?!) or by Western Union. I knew this was a scam so I tried to get as much info as I could. They wanted me to go in 20 min to a Western Union location and call them back at 202-738-4653, they called from 202-000-1111. They said they were from the U.S. Government.
This number has called several times in the last few days and at 7:00 am on a Saturday morning. It reeks of a scam. What gov't official is going to call that early on a sat. Plus, they have to send an official letter instead of a phone call.
