I just received this same call. I freaked. They claim to be Internal Revenue Services. Notice the "s" on the end. The IRS government agent does not have an "s" on the end. Just something I noticed.
Received a call stating my fiancé was to be awarded grant money but required taxes be paid prior to sending. Lost money and when we call they are rude and hateful. Supposedly a bank or department of human services. Scam

Their number is listed , along with an email address, at the top of the page.

I got a call from the same number as well. Now they tried to call me about the same thing using a different number. 239-719-1501. The person said his name was Shawn something. Don't fall for it. It's a SCAM. They're just trying to cheat your money again.
Just received recorded message from a cell phone number 703-427-5200 telling us to call 202-738-4666. Message is a female voice that says they have been trying to reach us and that this is officially final notice from the IRS. The message says the Internal Revenue Service ( IRS ) is filing lawsuit against us and to call this number to obtain information about this case file. We don't have any issues with the IRS, so suspect it is scam.
