Man with strong accent.called claiming that I had received a free government grant of 9,000 dollars that I could pick up from Western Union after paying $300 fee to receive the money in my name when I asked if it was a scam he got very upset and told me to cancel my application I'm pretty sure the federal government wouldn't make you pay $300 to receive a free federal grant

i just got covered in the same bs. who by chance is this man: Eric Brown? he says he works under the us finance deptment at this address: 200 independent ave southwest, HHH Building, Washington DC 20201. he too said i was one of the nine people out of so many chosen. i was chosen because i pay my taxes on time, i have no criminal record and etc.... i also was sent to a local western union by my house to pay$300. gor this same grant along with 9.5% nys taxes. this man claimed the state was holding the $9000. grant until i came up with this tax. This same man became infuriated when i kept doubting him of this whole bs.
Women with accent called me too, claiming I received a free government grant in the amount of 9,000,00 dollars. and that I can either have it deposited into my bank account, loaded on to my master or visa, or in cash. gave me a code to give to a man named eric brown...I never called after the first call, I have been receiving these types of calls for over a year...annoying! beware don't give out any information with these people, cause it is a scam...."I NEVER DID A APPLICATION FOR A GOVERNMENT GRANT"
