(May 14 2009 09:30 East Coast USA) This one's not a bogey. George Washington University Medical Faculty Assoc. is what they are -- it's a doctors' office, and, they're very good. (At least RN Mary Kendell is ... she is an EXCELLENT practitioner.) The receptionist doing the calls though, in my experience, is utterly curt if you are not the intended recipient of the call (eg, I'm the husband, but the call was for my wife.) The receptionist tells you NOTHING, you get NOTHING - assuredly that's for Confidentiality, but the receptionist's manner could be a little better.
Getting several calls from this number, about 2 minutes apart. All that came through was a 'beeeep' every 3-6 seconds. I waited out the last call, it disconnected automatically after 34s. Wow, It keeps calling...
I got 6 calls in 10 minutes from this number at 8:30 am. I answered the first time and it was the beeping that someone else described. I realized the caller was attempting to fax something and got my number mixed up with the intended number. Only bad thing is, when you accidentally dial a wrong number and it goes to voice mail, you can hear the message come through over the fax machine line, so the last 4 calls where really not necessary and someone was being lazy. Secondly, there is no number I could call to let them know of their mistake.
