When caller ID shows anything but a number or person I know, I pick up and immediately hang up. If I am busy I just let the answering machine handle it. It says, "We screen all calls. You may leave a message." They never leave a message - so, it is basically a non-problem. :)
I've received calls from this number many times. I have not answered but my wife has on occasion and has received the same no voice response or if asked for me they hang up. But what if this is not really the RNC but some other organization (who might that be??) that is trying to get people upset and pissed off at the RNC. It's not too perposteous. Don't jump to conclusions and blame the RNC without proof.

ALL Non profits and ALL political organization (Yes BOTH main parties) are EXEMPT. So your whining about being on the DNC list is a waste of your time posting, and everybody else's waist in reading....
The DNC law was compiled and written by polits in D.C. BLAME them ALL.
And you want them to write a HEALTH CARE BILL, that will benefit you...FAT CHANCE of that working!!!
