Received call from foreigner in a boiler room telling me that I am being given $9000 dollars from the US government because I have not filed bankruptcy in the last 6 months, and I do not have a criminal record. What a joke! The caller, who could barely even speak english, told me that all I had to do was give him my bank account or credit card number, and they would transfer the funds to me. I said no way, so he told me I could call his supervisor at 202-750-0374 and give that person a confirmation #, "KN711"; and then that person would give me all of the details of the money transfer. Of course I did not call them, but maybe I would just for fun.
