Threatened to turn my case over to police authorities for not answering their calls

Did you pay them or are they a scam?

If this is a call from someone CLAIMING to be the IRS - or offering a grant, it is a SCAM!!

Just received two text messages from this # stating, "This is to inform you that Legal action under section 9, of chapter 19c will be imposed on you by 11:00am tomorrow & we have to take you down into custody through police, call us right back failing which we won't be responsible, contact us on 202-738-4361 immediately. Crimonal/taxation Bureau"
Funny thing, being a paralegal for this State, I was not aware that I had committed any felony or criminal act (of any kind), or "relating to residential or daycare services and licenses", nor, "disabled persons nor commissions". and requested their business information and what section exactly where they meaning to suggest, and I have yet to receive a response from them. So, I further advised them that I feel their communication was a threat and would need their detailed information. Crickets.
