Voice message staying it was an official call from the IRS informing me this was a final notice and the IRS was going to file a law suit against me and to call back immediately. I know the IRS will not contact you by phone only by mail
Received voice message from supposedly IRS stating that this was final notice that they were going to sue me. called the number and spoke with someone with very heavy accent....lots of loud voices in the back round questioned them and they hung up on me. Huge scam! They better not call back for their sake.
Received multiple automated calls today from both this number and 202-751-0752; same deal, voice message stating an official call from the IRS regarding final notice on law suit and to call this number back. Reported both to IRS and FTC fraud sites.
I received calls today from both phone #s (202) 751-1163 and (202) 751-0752 stating that I owe $5,532 to the IRS and if I wanted to "resolve" the issue with them now, or have a warrant out for my arrest and go to court. I stated that I wanted to speak to someone further and see where the discrepancies were, the person then stated, "You have chosen to go to court" and hung up on me. I called them back and the same person stated that they did not have my name/# on file. Better be a huge scam and I am on the phone waiting to speak to actual IRS now to report it and to make sure it is completely inaccurate.
