I am a senior and I just buy minutes to use a cell phone. I only use it only when I can not use my land phone. I got a call from 2027537853 and did not know who it is. If I answer it will cost me and lately sales people have started calling my cell phone number. Now I only answer if the number looks one I know. Hope I do not miss family or friends if they call using a new number and I do not answer.

Received a call from Mark Smith. He said he was from the U.S. government in Washington DC. Mark had a vey heavy accent. Could he possibly be calling from India? (Sarcasm). I asked him for his "real" name and of course, it was Mark Smith. Anyway, he said I qualified for a $9,000 grant that I would never have to pay back. I asked him how the weather was in Washington DC. He couldn't answer that and abruptly hung up on me. They call about once or twice a week, using different phone numbers, but the same area code.
