Automated message was left on my google voicemail;
"your a victim of Internal revenue service the very second you receive this message. I need you to return the phone call the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive calling you from tax on crime investigation department of irs been hotline to my division is 202-754-8199. We have received a notice to blacklist your social security number, so don't try to disregard this message and do return the call before we take any legal actions. Thank you.
SS # was being blacklisted due to lawsuit against me. Was told I purposeful misled IRS about 4 yrs of tax returns and I needed to pay several thousands of dollars or I would be arrested today. They gave me a case #, arrest warrant # and really sounded legit. IRS doesn't leave voice texts only certified letters and does not answer phone saying uh hello in a an accent so foreign you can't understand . Beware people and check things out before doing anything over phone. Oh and if I lost case in Washington,D.C.courts I would go straight to Alaska to serve 3 years lol
Recei8ved call from this number with voicemail message claiming to be from the Fraud Division of the IRS and threatening to discontinue my social security number if I don't respond.
I have been receiving calls from (202) 754-8199, which is a Washington DC area code. I let the call to go voice mail and the message I receive is that they are from the Internal Revenue Service and that are going to blacklist my social security number. Because of the nature of the message, I knew it was a scam.
