got a call from 202-754-8457 and called back and it was a guy with a heavy indian accent saying that we had been audited and owed $2,700. Asked if i'd like him to speak to my lawyer and that local police would be serving a warrant.

Got message on my answering machine to call this number. Supposedly IRS. Guy with thick (suspect Indian) accent. Pretty sure scam.
Did not give him any info.
IRS will NOT CALL and threaten you with arrest. Clearly a b***s*** scam attempt to trick "older citizens" because the calls come during the daytime hours when retirees / widows are home. Have not got the "stones" to call after 5 when non retirees can answer. Advice t0 consider: Just BLOCK and move on!
Received call and voice mail on my cell today. Voice message was generic - a recorded robo voice that said it was "a matter of urgency, we are looking forward to speak to you". They did not say where they were calling from. Another spam caller that I will block.
Got call from this numbers today, got a recorded robo voice that said it was a message from the IRS and that I need urgently call the numbers they provided (I didn't catch it). Got very suspicious, I'm pretty sure I don't have problems with taxes and I through years of experience with US Gov agencies they usually send a letter first. .. pretty sure it is scammer. Will report the number on the IRS scammer website
