This was a valid telephone caller/ Committee to Defend The President. I enjoyed the info she gave me of all the attributes our President Trump has changed for the better from our last Presidents mess. Obama really made a mess for all of our people, and the media played right into Obama plan..
He was asking for my daughter....when I said I was not she, that I was her mother, he stated that he was a student with her and was calling for notes....when I asked what class they were in, he stated that he would need to call me right back.
Left a message asking for me by name (which is in my VM greeting) stating they were calling about about a federal fine, an urgent matter and to call Shawn Tyler (or Taylor?) back at this number to resolve it. The speaker was a heavily accented male. Sounded very much like a scam.
I got the same call. It is a total scam. I'm going to report to local authorities. Number 1 IRS doesn't call they mail/email you any discrepancies and they would never ask for money over the phone. TOTAL SCAM!
Left a voicemail saying I owed a fine to the federal government but didn't elaborate. Requested I return the phone call. Could not understand the name.
Called twice within a minute (didn't hear my phone ring) left no voicemail, then called again the following minute. Answered and was greeted by someone with a heavy accent asking for someone named Ruby (side note I get calls all the time for a lady named Ruby who previously had my phone number). Told him he had the wrong number and he started to call me a liar saying that he knows I'm Ruby and I shouldn't lie, because his "records" show that my phone number belonged to Ruby. Rather than arguing I just hung up. Sounds like a scam to me.
