I just received a phone call from this number with a voice message saying I've got judgment for tax fraud against me, and if I don't want to be arrested, that I need to call back and get this straightened out. I've received a call a few weeks ago from the same Washington, DC area saying that they were the IRS and that I owed them over 6k due to some other tax fraud that I had committed. Complete scammers!! They said I needed to go to CVS to buy iTunes gift cards to pay them with. Really?! WTF.....no. This is ridiculous.
My parents are getting the same calls non stop and they are even giving a badge #. We know for a fact they owe nothing and are just wanting to report them for calling. It is a shame they do this and some folks think it is for real. A----holes
They called me claiming to be from the IRS and I owed a large amount of money. They try to scare a person by telling them that they will get jail time. I know I don't owe any money to the IRS. My records are clean. I want this nonsense to stop, they are a waste of my time and an invasion of my personal space.
