The IRS does not need to sue anyone. They send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office. Several of them. Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for. Again delivered by the Post Office. Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own. If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge? They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars for the same reasons I have already given.

Scam for sure. Recorded message saying the "From IRS. Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 202-766-8104."
Got a call from this number 02/24/2016 at 6:30 pm. This is an automated call. This is the IRS and your final notice. The IRS is filing a law suite against you. Call 202-766-8104. Called and a man answered at 4:00 a.m in the morning. I looked at our tax claims on the IRS web site. There is not a law suite against us.
* I asked for his agent number for the IRS and he hung up.
You can file a report direct with the IRS. This is not the first report against him. He is pin pointing out those who file on-line.
