Who called from 2027690712

Robocall that appears to be attempting to raise money for gun control.  The organization is not identified in the call.

I just got a call from this number--1/29/13, 1:33PM ET--and it was a recorded speech given by Obama about "saving the children."

I hung up immediately.

I suspect this is a scam operation.  The phone call begins with a recorded message by President Obama referencing the recent gun shooting at an elementary school in the northeast.  The recording begins midstream, the work of amateurs, which suggests that this is not a legitimate organization.  Then a plea is made to help (financially) support stricter gun laws.

The organization never identifies itself.  When I attempted to call the number this phone call was made from, I got a recording that the number has been disconnected.

Don't give this scam operation any amount of your time OR your money.

Got a call 1/29 1 pm. Same as above: partial recording of Obama, Then unidentified organization wants money under guise of gun control. Clearly a scam. Irrelevant whether you are for or against gun control. Report to donotcall.gov
