Unless you know someone in D.C., avoid any call with 202 area code. Especially if the is no ID or message. For some reason, scammers have started spoofing numbers from 202 and 210 (which is San Antonio, TX). I know because I have children in both places, so I can't block entire area codes!

Unless you know someone in D.C., avoid any call with area code 202, especially if there is no ID or message. Scammers have started spoofing numbers in 202 and 210, also. I know because I have kids in both areas. 210 happens to be San Antonio, TX and I can't block either area code entirely because of that, but I refuse to answer calls from either one, any caller with no ID, for that matter and certainly don't attempt to return calls to numbers I don't know and that don't leave a plausible message.
