Answered call from this number. After reading about a min of his script, I asked for the bottom line, cut to the chase. Right after that he said bipartisan group not working for either party. But, would I pledge $30 to stop Trump from signing all these terrible exec orders that are ruining the environment. I hung up on him & blocked the number.
Calls and leaves NO message. Anyone who does that is dishonest. If you would call back you would get a female recording stating it is GSI a call center working for the enviornmental defense fund. None of which is substantiated. Beware.
I call after hours (using *67 to block my number). I hear, "Thank you for calling GSI, a call center working for the Environment Defense Fund. If you were recently contacted by GSI, it is probably because you've been identified as a supporter of the Environment Defense Fund. Feel free to leave a message after the tone including your name and phone number, even if you think we have it, so that we may serve you better. Thank you."
EDF seems to have only one issue, carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. I am assuming that at this point of the election cycle that part of your donation will be sent to like-minded politicians. If you wish to donate, please, do so through EDF's website. Do not encourage the telemarketers who will take the lion's share of any phone donation.
