they are scammers give them nothing.they use magicjack almost all the time because it's untraceable and cheap..magic jack website as a page to complain and get the number shutdown
Received a call from this number. The message was that I was being sued by the IRS and told to call this number for information regarding the case. It is obviously bogus, and could easily be a scam to get me to call the number which would then reroute the call overseas or ???? so that the charges are $60, $100, $140, etc.
Received call today, same number same announcement, it's a scam.
Went to IRS site to report it and the paperwork isn't worth it.
No wonder they can't stop these criminals
The Indian and Pakistani scammers are impossible to stop at the present time. This is due to the local governments. Saying that you won't report it because it is to difficult simply means there's less chance of ANYTHING being done. Domestic US scammers doing the IRS scam have been arrested and are being prosecuted. American-based money mules can be prosecuted as well. Things can happen, but only if people complain/
