I received a call saying I had gotten a Gov Grant. No additional info was required, a verification code was given to be and this # to call. As no extra info was asked if bank# s etc I wasn't too concerned but after reading here that just saying "yes" is enough, well now I'm worried. I am 64 years old on SSI. What now?

I received a call yesterday saying that I was approved for a gov. Grant n gave me a code n this phone number to call n claim 202-795-3578...n they had info about me..name ...Address..I did not call number though..what is this scam
I got a private caller also saying about I get $9,000 I was shocked because I know it was to good to be true but what got me was "U.S federal government " and I posed they gave me to call 2027953578 and conformation starts with ed..... I said I have no bank account and they said ok western union..... I was like uhh!!! Yea rite....
