The caller ID said Washington DC.. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, and waited for the voice mail. It was a robotic voice asking me to press a number as to what political party I was affiliated with.. Weird indeed
I got a call today around 2:30 today saying the same stuff. I had HnR block do my taxes. I went to HnR block while on the phone, they said it was fraud.
They just called me and yes I had a lot of attitude because one if I owe a debt with irs then I would have gotten something in the mail. So I said I would google the number and I'm glad I did. I did mine on turbo tax and I hung up on them.
received a call from this number today from a lady with very thick accent and extremely rude....threating to send the sherriffs and seize my bank account saying that i owe taxes in the amount of $1675 from 2009-2013....I told her I will be contacting the IRS direct and she d/c'd the call.....smh
