Received call. I was selected to receive free $9000 free gov't grant money. They insisted over and over that FBI records their calls. I wouldn't give credit card or bank acct info, they said they can send money gram or western union. So I said to send to money gram. They ask if I ever used before, I said yes. Then they told me it requires one time registration fee of $288! HAHAHA!! I said no it doesn't and hung up!!!! I had also been called from 202-7983645
I did not answer this call...looked up the area code...saw that it is a scam area code...IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE A NUMBER...DO NOT ANSWER IT...OUR CELL NUMBERS ARE OUT THERE...FOR ANYONE TO GRAB !!
the same schpeel was done to me and operator insisted i call the number 202-798-0206 and gave me a money approval id # DR124. I told them I would take the money through western union and after they verified they could not provided me with a prepaid card of their own to place the money on it. HAHAHa that's too funny.
