Your phone has to ID the number before it can block it. The first ring IDs the number. A blocker with "First Ring Suppression" will silence the first ring of every call. With FRS the only way you'll know they called is by checking your call log.

Check your instructions for your call blocker-there might be a way to silence the 1st ring.

Please do not call me again.  I received several unwanted calls from this number.  They provide no identifying information.

several calls , they wont leave a message on our machine , and they wont answer when we answer . caller Id says Washington DC.

at least 3 calls a day for the past 4 days. wtf?
