This company called me posing as the Financial Crimes Division in Washington, DC and said there were 2 warrants out for my arrest for a check I wrote to a payday loan company on a closed bank account. I haven't had a bank account for over 7 years, and my son said "mom, this is a scam, don't even worry about it" I think these people should be stopped and it should be illegal for them to pose as an attorney when really they are just a debt collection agency. Please be aware and put this number on the fraud list.

This number called me looking for my Mom. They said they were calling from the financial crimes division. The told me my Mom had 2 hours to call them or they would issue 2 Warrants! I called her local county sheriffs Dept and they advised me this is a SCAM! Do not give them Any personal information or money and it is illegal, call your state attorney general office to report. It is illegal to misrepresent yourself as an attorney!
