I got a call from 202-803-9000 and he said his name was Brian from the IRS -- had a very strong Indian accent -- I hung up and blocked the number. I called the number back and got a recording saying it was the IRS office in Washington D.C. -- still a scam and am concerned that people like my 81 year old mom would fall for this.
I get a lot of these calls from different numbers and they always have names like Mike, Brian, Steve and they all have heavy Indian accents with really broken English. If you notice all the Microsoft computer scams are all people in India as well.
It's funny cause some guy with a foreign accent called me Wednesday from a NY number and left a very disrepectful message talking about he is from legal services. Now today the same guy calls repeatedly but is now calling from a DC number and left the same disrespectful message on my voicemail.
Just received a call from someone who said they were from the IRS! He was very hard to understand, and had a humming noise over the line. I kept telling him there was a noise, ands I couldn't understand him. He hung up on me
I keep getting calls from this 202-803-9000 with a man with a foreign accent. Rude and forceful he is claiming to be someone he is not and is a total scam.
