Please file a report with your local authorities, the FTC, the FBI, the Department of Justice, and your state's attorney general.
Also, please place a flag on your credit report with Experian,Equifax, and TransUnion. This will prevent any lines of credit being taken out in your name without verification that you are the one applying. This protection is free and lasts for 6 months. It can be extended if needed.
As for grocery money, do you have a local food bank or are you a member of a church ? Either may be willing and able to assist you. Also check with your local Salvation Army.
Got a call from a Kevin Parnell who sounded Indian that I was approved for a payday loan from Advanced Payday Loan He gave me There address as 200 Independence Ave HHH Building South West Washington,DC 20201.I was told I was approved for $2000.00 and my payments would be $91.00 a month for 24 months. He gave me the number to call his Manager David Betts at 1-202-821-4819. I call and the man Identified himself as David Betts also sounded Indian and was told they were just closing and that he would call me back at 11:30 in the morning.I called him at 11:45 and said he didn't have his computer up yet and that to call him in 15 minutes which I did. He informed me that he was just about to send my money to my bank but first I needed to go to Western Union and send him money and I told him NO,He proceeded to get very angry and abusive with me and told me ok O could not get the loan and called me" a Fu#king [***] " and hung up on me I call his number back and it went right to voice mail. I left him a message that I was going to call the DC Police and the BBB.Beware of the Scammers with these payday loans you will be ripped of if you send them money.
I was told I was was approved for a $3000 loan. Looked this so called company up, Advance Payday Loans 202-821-4819 and saw all these post that it was a scam. So when I called David He said that I had tu go in somewhere call him and send a deposit to them. I told him about the post I read and he called me a Mthr Fckr and hung up the phone. Don't fall for this it's a scam.
I recieved a call from 888-888-8888 and they identified theirself as Samantha Maddox and that I was approved for a $3000 loan hen she told me to call David Betts at 202-821-4819 to confirm. My confirmation # is 31832 both persons were hard to understand but after giving them my financial information I discovered it was a scam. Please don't let them scam you. Address given to me was 200 Independence Avenue, HHH Building, Southwest, Washington DC,20201. Website given was www.creditloanservices.com
I got the call from 888-888-8888 and was given the number for Senior Manager Mark Williams. This was for a $2000 loan. I won;t know until Monday if they scammed me or not but will keep you informed. If this is a scam I will prosecute and shut them down. The call came from the FRFXVAAPDS0 switch and the WSHNGTNZN1 rate center. I will not agree to send them anything except a hard time.
I can already tell you that you've been scammed if you sent a penny. The first message in this thread has the usual tell-tale. Western Union. Legitimate lenders do not ask for payment via Western Union.....ever.
