i have been receiving phone calls from 202-596-0734 or 315-288-0343, stating they are from the grant department and that i would receive $9000, but i had to pay a fee of $260 in order to receive it, i told them i wasn't interested and can they take my number off their call list, the woman hung up on me. When I called back a man answered the phone with a simple hello. I then asked him to remove my number from his call sheet, he asked could I answer a question first, I said yes, he then asked me for phone sex!!!!
Yes! I received a call from this number, I was told that I was to receive $9,000.00 from the government. The government gives out this money to 1700 people in the US and that this is not a grant or a loan and that I do not have to pay it back. The only thing they asked is that I use it to pay off bills or repair my house or car or something along those lines and that I do not tell anyone about this. I was then giving a Grant Approval number and then another telephone number to call to confirm; That number is 315-314-3001. When I call that number it just rings and rings. after about 12 rings it then goes to a busy signal. Sounds fishy to me.
I just got one too! It sounded like an Asian lady offering the same one. I love to just keep them going and then let them know I am aware of their lies. Usually those come from a track phone, so there is no way to trace the number, BUT if you keep them on the line long enough (without giving them any information) you can use up a lot of their minutes, so that's what I do.
....and, you honestly believe they're paying WITH THEIR MONEY to purchase the phones/or the time..? No, absolutely not! In the long-run, WE "ALL" ARE (PAYING FOR THEIR CRIMES)!!
