Called saying I owed for taxes and there was a warrant for my arrest. I'm an accountant and I know IRS would never call your house to alert you. They send mail correspondence unless you call them.
Another call with a computerized voice. No name, no company name, simply says they wish to speak to the attorney of record, and to call the number back. Very weird
I got this message regarding Tax Fraud that I was supposedly guilty of; I called them back telling them I've never done any tax fraud and that I was going to get a lawyer to sue them; they hung up!! They gave no company name...
Got a call and they claimed to be with the IRS sueing me for back taxes. Wanted my attorney's info instead of mine? I told them to send me a notice in the mail. 1) The real IRS will always mail notices to you 2) I don't owe any back taxes.
