Got a call from 202-846-0115 some automated message claiming to be the IRS and that I need to call ASAP and do not block this number as they have my SSN. Automated message said to call 202-846-0499. Not even going to waste my time with this, blocking the number.
Somebody called me from this number an said they were from the IRS and that I had not responded to two certified letters. I told them that I would call the IRA directly tomorrow and said good bye. I then googled this number and read that other people had the same thing happed. Somebody needs to nail these guys.
It's a scam. When i told them i knew it was a scam, he began to use profanity and tell me what he was going to do with me. He is a disgusting pig and needs to be reported!!!
I've been receiving calls from this number (or one close to it) several years ago. They originally told my wife there would be police calling at our door. Then, months later, I took the call and listened to a person with a strong east Indian accent deliver a nervous pitch for our money. I then blew off he said he was going to hang up on me,...he did and I call back ...he hung up again and I called back again and again then he threaten to put me on CALL BLOCK!......then months later we've received 'phone messages' with the same BS. No one in government is doing anything about this and I understand several elderly women were taken in with FEAR and paid the 'demanded' fraudulent amount in the form of PAYPAL. I still get these crooks phone messages......when will someone do something about these animal? I have heard their phone number is a routed number actually originating from INDIA.
